On behalf of The Executive Committee, welcome to our California Chapter web site.

It is a great honor and privilege to be the bearers of the Saurashtra Patel Cultural Samaj, California Chapter. The founders of our Samaj took great pride in promoting and creating our Samaj. Their main goal was to leave a good and solid foundation for our future generation to build upon. These compassionate, caring men knew they were taking a challenging step. History has shown that they struck a jackpot of extraordinary vision, which is evidenced by the growth, and unity of our Samaj; and we all are grateful to them from the bottom of our heart.

We are fortunate to have inherited this rich structure in the 21st century, however our challenge is quite different, yet basically the same. Leave behind the rich traditions for our future generations to build upon.

Our mission is simple, �cherish our great culture, promote youth for future leadership and have fun as one big and happy family�. Our goal is to achieve this by having an active participation from all our members, by saying �All� we mean all (men, women, youth and seniors). We are at an advantage in today�s Hi- tech society, because we can promote our grass roots to the future generations with ease and communicate around the world with speed. It is the responsibility of each one of us to remember and make a commitment to yourself that you will support in any way possible, so that our future generations can build upon. Here is something for you to consider �if you think you can, you can. And if you think you can�t, then you can�t do it. We need help from you, the members, to keep moving and together we can do it.
